Cameroon, extract 4 of the new directives relating to the road transport of various goods
For this sub-sector, these are:
- Systematically affix the owner’s plate on the truck door, as well as its telephone number, clearly visible from a distance;
- Unannounced compliance checks will now be carried out in liaison with other competent Administrations within quarry loading sites and operating areas;
- Any refusal to comply during road prevention and control operations by road carriers of various goods by trucks, with the exception of those in transit (to be checked at conventional checkpoints), is subject to the immediate sanctions provided for. by the regulations in force.
